Our story began with the dream and desire to create something big, something unique, something that would require more from us than any of us could ever have imagined. NoPain is a strongly growing international sports brand whose roots are in Finland. We lean heavily on our Nordic way of doing things and our honesty. We provide our customers with products whose quality has been ensured with our operating model:
- All NoPain products are designed in Finland
- All NoPain products are manufactured according to our quality standards
- All NoPain products are tested by our Fight Family team before they are brought to market.
Our corporate values
The activities of our company are based on the values that matter to us: equality between people, tolerance, mutual respect and honesty. We also strive to ensure that our products represent our corporate values as well. For us, these are not just pretty thoughts that we use to decorate our office walls, but something concrete that is reflected in our daily activities.
Equality and tolerance
We are all created equal, no matter the colour of our skin or our background. We do not judge or condemn anyone based on their backgrounds or starting points in life.
Respect and honesty
Respect is a value that is not given but earned, and that is why one's actions speak for themselves. We always strive to ensure that our activities are as transparent as possible. We, like everyone else, also make mistakes. The most important thing is that we admit our mistakes and learn from them.
An ecological mindset
Our industry is one that, unfortunately, is rife with irresponsible actors and activities. NoPain always strives to assess the working conditions and environmental values of every factory that manufactures our products. We will never manufacture our products in countries where we are unable to assess the overall environmental and working conditions there. It is important to us that the products that we make are durable and last for as long as possible, making them as ecological as possible as well. We focus on quality and non-toxic materials that are as ecological as possible. We also strive to take every ecological and sustainable development aspect into account in the transportation of our products. For example, the glue that is used in our Kinesio products is completely non-toxic. It is essential to us that our entire production value chain operates in a manner that is as ecological and transparent as possible. This is why our delivery packaging materials are made out of cardboard that has been manufactured using products that have only been sourced from certified forests.
This does not always make the most financial sense. However, it is important to us that we as a company bear our share of the responsibility and take responsibility for our own actions. Our goal is to set an example for the other actors in the industry as well.
THE NOPAIN FIGHT FAMILY - ATHLETES AND THE FUTURE OF SPORT
We think that sport is everyone's right. We know what it means to be passionate about what you do. We support various types of athletes through our Fight Family concept, but we also direct our resources to other communities as well. Our goal is to support all types of athletes who are at the beginning stages of their careers, at the top of their careers, as well as after their careers have ended. Our slogan − “we do this with a small budget but a large heart” − also means that the products that you buy help support the athletes of our Fight Family.
OUR HISTORY 2014
The creation of the NoPain brand begins in 2014.
The current owners are presented with a business idea that is titled “NoPain”. Only the name and slogan of this idea will live on, but they will help start an incredible journey...
In 2015, NoPain - Stay in the Game begins to take form. The company contacts our first athlete, Sonia Grönroos. With Sonia’s help, the idea for the NoPain - Fight Family begins to emerge. Our corporate activities are guided by a strong vision of how the collaboration between our brand and our athletes could be made even better. We are like a close family, and we support one another and cheer each other on! This idea serves as the basis for the NoPain Fight Family in 2016: a group of talented athletes who represent the same values as our company and never give up!
In 2016, the NoPain product line, the number of athletic fields that we represent and the number of members in the Fight Family increase to almost their current sizes. It is important to us that we create our own models and technical details without copying others. We have also managed to gather a group of athletes who make us extremely proud.
Mirko Lahti, a member of the NoPain Fight Family, wins the Junior Ice Cross Downhill World Championships. Our athletes face strong setbacks and soldier on to achieve victory after victory. As a taste of things to come, the global nopain.fi online store is launched.
